Hi, I am trying to create an agent for my POC project. How can i use MCP Gitlab functions/tools [say search_repositories] in my project

Yes - have gitlab env

i have a requirement where i need to give project files content to llm via programming .so , will able to create agent and do this specific task . For this i am trying to use Gitlab MCP. I dont want to use cursor

Can i call mcp tools like search_repositories or get_file_contents and store the returned data in a variable. If yes, can you please help me how
