With hawkBit 0.5.0 the hawkBit Vaadin 8 UI has been discontinued. (Vaadin 8 UI Discontinuation, see also eclipse-hawkbit/hawkbit#1510)
This should be reflected in the docs, which still describe the use of the old UI.

The docs could be changed in two ways:

show the use of the new and experimental Simple UI Initial draft of Simple UI eclipse-hawkbit/hawkbit#1499, which is not part of the regular docker images.
or show the use of the Management REST API directly
