What happened?

I installed Zen v 1.0.1-a.22, and all my custom keyboard shortcuts were lost (it's possible this happened with the upgrade to a.20 or a.21 and I didn't notice until now, as I installed these three updates in pretty quick succession).

Is there a way to back up these keyboard shortcuts in the event that something like this happens again? I find that it would be helpful to have an "Export All Settings" option somewhere, so that users can store their browser settings locally, and easily restore them if necessary.

Thanks for all the work that's being done on this project.

Reproducible?

  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

I found a related discussion that might be helpful:

This discussion emphasizes the importance of keyboard shortcuts/keybinds but does not provide a solution to the issue of losing custom keyboard shortcuts after an update. It might be useful to follow this discussion for any future updates or solutions that may be proposed.
