Certain actions may trigger client exit with "Buffer full" #1964

Since #1955 certain loads may trigger a client disconnect with the message "Buffer full":

open zellij
open many panes (I can reproduce with 27 and more)
enter Tab sync mode
disable pane frames
Hold Enter key
