This is an initiative to track and discuss changes related to standardizing different arguments through lab.
It also would be great if we can find a way to track all flags.

The first proposal that came up has

  • Add --no-edit and --edit, so the same behavior can be used alongside other flags (i.e. -m, -F).
  • make opening the editor the default behavior.
  • Remove --with-comments and -f completely in favor of --edit/--no-edit
