The codelab example generator is broken so codelab needs a major update.

The FountainJS generators are unmaintained for quite a while and now they seem officially abandoned. See https://github.com/FountainJS

This relates to #788 and a rewrite of the codelab would also close #693 and #729.

I guess I could rewrite the codelab. But the question is which generator to choose for it.

I maintain Baumeister which I would like to propose. The downside: It has less options (only React and static sides using Handlebars templates) and doesn’t have subgenerators.

I guess I am a bit biased, because I’m the one who is maintaining it.

Question: are there any other candidates?
The most important things: It should be actively maintained and well documented.

Any ideas @yeoman/yeoman-site?

Hi! I love the idea behind Baumeister, I watched the videos and went through the documentation in Github. ;-)

As you said, the downside is that we only support React from the frameworks perspective. Can we propose further options? Like Vanilla JS with Generator Webapp together with Baumeister.

Working with an eye to the future, I would suggest to explore the idea of promoting other generators that are non-related only to create Front-end projects, like Wordpress generator. I also consider that, as most of the JS frameworks have their own CLI, we could put our effort in other initiatives, as those I mentioned before.

🤔 In summary, I would suggest to include multiple generators in the codelab. What do you think?

I am just trying to do the codelab for the Fountain app generator, and the generator has some options that aren't mentioned in the codelab. It would be great if that got updated. Otherwise, I'm really just here to try out the Excel add-in dev.
