libGeoIP.so.1: cannot open shared object file

Hi, does anyone experience the same problem while starting fluentd?

/usr/local/lib/ruby/2.6.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:130:in require': libGeoIP.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory - /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6.0/gems/geoip-c-0.9.1/lib/geoip.so (LoadError)

I tried both alpine and debian set up and both ends up with the same result.
