Bindings dependency using deprecated methods #171

The issue has been raised in the bindings git
TooTallNate/node-bindings#18

but seems to be abandoned. In an Meteor 1.4 app using Node 4.7.3 this will throw the following error:

Uncaught TypeError: exists is not a function
    at Function.getRoot (modules.js?hash=8a8965c…:56184)
    at bindings (modules.js?hash=8a8965c…:56086)
    at meteorInstall.node_modules.node-expat.lib.node-expat.js (modules.js?hash=8a8965c…:2323)
