Merging old x86/x86_64 documentation from Sourceforge into docs #7457
Comments
Great idea. I'd like to merge such a PR :) |
@Obihoernchen Do you have access to the sourceforge xCAT project? I need editor access to the wiki there to pull extract the markdown documentation (instead of scraping the markdown rendered as HTML and then reconverting back into markdown 🤦 ) |
What's your sourceforge user id? I don't have admin access myself but I'll make sure you will get editor access. |
My user id on SF is |
@samveen you should have access now. Please check. |
Checked. I have access. Thank you. |
As per docs/source/guides/admin-guides/manage_clusters/x86_64, any documentation for x86_64 clusters points to the sourceforge documentation at https://sourceforge.net/p/xcat/wiki/XCAT_Documentation/
I'd like to migrate and merge it into the main documentation, so that it can be kept up to date to xCAT current version. If that's OK, I'll create a draft pull request for the merge.
