Start channel improvement

I'd like to see the procedure working like some years ago. It's not a problem but lot of time wasted.

Describe the solution you'd like
When we don't use a precise model of controller, like with a custom controller, it's very boring to create the layout because the default start channel of the new object is not the last channel+1 of the previous object.

Some years ago, when we created an object and make a copy/past, the start channel of the new object was automatically set to the be after the end of the previous object. Is it possible to do that ?

We add it at the end to prevent channel overlap, as most people use the auto layout it probably won't change.
