Describe the bug
This was observed in the zoom room. User came in with needing universe per string to allow things on smart receivers to allocate channels properly. Upon enabling the checkbox and triggering a channel calculation (save or visualize) xLights crashes.

To Reproduce
Open xLights
Enable universe per string
Click visualize

Versions (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11
    -- 2024.15
    -- 2024.18
    -- 2024.18.1
    -- nightly

  • OS: OS X Sequoia
    -- 2024.18
