The option of Try out an API in DevPortal is just available for Resident Key Manager but with the possibility to configure another KM like WSO2 IS KM that option display the following:

Thanks, @bmonteiro for opening this issue, Yes this is a valid concern and we will consider adding this feature for the future releases.
