Application Crashes When Renaming Duplicate CRX File After Reinstalling Extension

Description
When a user clicks "Install" on an extension and then clicks elsewhere on the screen (outside the install popup), the next time they attempt to install the extension, a duplicate CRX file (e.g., Artifact (1).crx) is created. If they rename the duplicate file back to its original name (Artifact.crx), the application crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
I Click the Install button to install an extension.
II Click anywhere outside the install popup to dismiss it.
III Click Install again to retry the installation.
IV A duplicate CRX file is created (e.g., Artifact (1).crx).
V Manually rename Artifact (1).crx back to Artifact.crx.
VI Observe that the application crashes.
