In the attached document the Siting Classification and the Measurement quality classification traceability are raised as well as the need to manage multiple instruments for the same variable.

item 1: To rename the term “Exposure of instrument”, that is confusing, by “Siting classification” and thus
avoid misunderstanding and use the real term from WMO-No. 8.
Good suggestion. New developments in the documentation in WMO-No. 8 (GIMO) on siting and instrument classification should be considered too. Consultation with the TT (SC-MINT) to be organized.
