+* `git tag` the prior commit (preferrably signed tag)
+* `make docs` to produce PDF and HTML copies of the spec
+* Make a release on [github.com/opencontainers/specs](https://github.com/opencontainers/specs/releases) for the version. Attach the produced docs.
