Proposal: add an application container for easy deployment

Hello!

I'm planning to use this codebase for a different project. I typically write containerfiles for my projects so I can easily build them as a container and host them on docker/openshift/etc.

Given that this project likely already runs on CSH infra, I would be curious whether writing a pull request to add such a container to this project would be a helpful contribution, or whether i should just keep this to my version.
