Meta: make the header more like other WHATWG standards #3010
Comments
Extending the current structure to link to web-platform-tests is a bit challenging, which is why this idea first came to mind. |
Hmm, I kind of like HTML being special... I'll remove "good first bug" until we have agreement on this. What's the problem with adding WPTs? Just add another box, right? There's even a commented-out one in the source (legacy open bugs I believe) so that you can stay at an even number of them. |
For wpt we'd want to link to at least html/ and "ongoing work" on the html label, but probably also some other directories like 2dcontext and their labels. When adding things, you have to pay attention to how many boxes there are, their colors and making it look OK, and that kept me from touching them at least. Do you like it specifically because it makes HTML different, or would you want to make other specs more like HTML? |
Well, I like that HTML is different, and I also think that the other specs' heading styles is not as good as HTML's. But I wouldn't go as far as to say that they should all adopt HTML's. |
