What is session time limit?

For an authoring tool to be classified to be accessible, it means that it takes into consideration the needs of content authors who have difficulty performing authoring actions and need more time to complete their workflow. Most authoring tools have a time limit for editing contents and it is best for content authors to be able to specify the duration of time they will want to edit contents.

Why does the session time limit need to documented?

Both first time authors and authors who are already used to creating contents with Wagtail will always need to be reminded that they can set the time limit based on their preference. The documentation will allow them to be able to quickly remember how they can do it while also explaining the possible durations they can changed to.

I could not find the feature on the admin interface. I believe the developer team is still working on it.

Proposed Documentation on session time limit feature

  • explain how to locate the position of the icon responsible for changing the time limit. If changing it does not have an icon displayed on the settings, explain how to navigate it to the end part.
  • explain the possible duration the session time limit can be changed to
  • if the session time limit can be changed to permanent based, provide explanation on how to do it
