A pointer this CoC has already been added to the repository as CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md (it came in with the boiler plate stuff @svgeesus added when he created the original repository in the W3C namespace that I merged in #2). Is there substantial utility to keeping an open issue as well that is not up for discussion and requires no further action?
It’s meant to get participants’ attention as a pinned issue. Despite GitHub already tries to emphasize this code of conduct thing everywhere because of that very file in the repo, people don’t really read those tips and that file. I also plan to gradually populate this pinned issue with other information a newcomer should be aware of.
We can figure out a specific label for this kind of management pseudo-issues. We will take this pinned issue down once we feel the CG’s participants have generally formed their understanding.
