[Feature Request] custom month and year selectors in date picker

Problem to solve

unclear user interface. The year selector doesn't have any text. The month selector shows the month and also year? Why not just show the month with a arrow down icon so that we see that it's a clickable button

Proposed solution

let the user pass their own slots or let user choose the text and pre-icon or suffix-icons
