Describe the bug

I'd like to resign from any maintenance role I have in this project (I can see the settings tab so I have some permissions. I can't see Collaborators so not sure what those permissions are).

VMWare may also want to consider archiving this project as well. There were originally two purposes for this:

1. prototyping a tuf repository running on github actions
2. low level CLI tool for manipulating TUF metadata

Purpose 1 is no longer that interesting as there is now a real implementation in tuf-on-ci. The second might still be useful as debugging and testing tool... but I'm not going to maintain it and there have been no commits or new issues in the last year (apart from a couple I filed).

I don't have plans of maintaining this as well.
I will contact VMware regarding this situation.
