You must use the ventoy Ventoy2Disk or .sh script to make the USB drive. You cannot make your own drive.
If you used the official exe/sh tool, there should be a log file.
Please attach the log file.

Could I understand why you aren’t allowing custom installs of your software?

Ive found that only ventoy allows me to boot chrome os from a .img file? chrome os can’t be installed on a drive along side Windows, as when windows updates it changes the partition layout? Which breaks chrome os

I see no reason for a boot loader to be so Secure? all I wanna do is boot both windows and this on the same drive?
