- 5 kg pilsner malt
- 500 g wheat
- 50 g Celeia
- Escarpment Laboratories Ardennes Ale (5 gallons pack)
- 150 g of tea (DAVIDsTEA green passionfruit)
- Mash 18.5 L at 73 °C for 1 hour (it should stay at 67 °C)
- Drain into mash tun
- Add 15 L at 76 °C for 15 minutes into the mash
- Drain into mash tun
- Boil for 1 hour
- At 0 minutes, add 15 g Celeia hops
- At 45 minutes, add 15 g Celeia hops
- Cool down to 20 °C
- Syphon into carboy
- Add yeast and gently mix
- After active fermentation, dry hop with the tea (dry tea)
- Brewing: 2019-01-27
- Dry tea: 2019-02-04
- Bottling: 2019-03-23
- Tasting: 2019-04-04
Incredibly powerful tea smell, intense taste of tea, it's like drinking a cold tea.
Should be around 5 percent of alcohol.
