Documentation at bots/api#setwebhook.
The most useful part of this would be spotting the invalid request at gateway site, avoiding the lambda call. Chalice doesn't support this at the moment.

Second request at aws/chalice#1125.
Related proposal at aws/chalice#1224 and unmerged implementation at aws/chalice#1223.
Someone might've achieved this at surfkansas/chalice-shrubbery#3.
