This started happening to me as well. On a project that has worked for several weeks :(

I was already doing this.

my tailwind.config.js looks like this

And all my components are inside "screens"

for some reason my tailwind.css has used some colors, but don't want to use others.

Well i found out my issue. I thought i was smart and allowed the parent component to switch the color scheme through a color selection prop.

This worked all fine since the color was already defined in tailwind.css, but when the css file got cleared somehow, tailwind woudn't define the bg-gray-400 because of course it didn't know i was using it until my code ran..

Lesson learned.

I'm running in the same problem. I am using npm run dev:tailwind but I keep on getting: Unsupported Tailwind class: "h-full".
I wrapped the root of the app as such:
