Hi and sorry for the delay in the answer.

As you see this is a not yet implemented feature since a long time ago. I've never had time to think deeply on it so I have no clever advices to give you specially if you want to start from scratch.

What have you tried? How do you want the feature to work: modifying existing values, adding new values...?

Thanks for your reply. I only want to modify some values inside leaf tables. I just tried to ask to make sure I'm going the correct and fast route. If you can provide some hints, so I am very appreciated.
