No longer builds under Nix

The instructions to build this specify running

$ nix-build -E 'with import <nixpkgs> {}; callPackage ./default.nix {}'

in this repo, however, this crashes with:

The change adding this line was in fd0a3bb via #28, the most recent contribution. Reverting to the commit before this was merged allows the build to complete successfully.
