I spotted just a few issues alongside the primary issue I wanted to report. I thought it might be easiest if I combine these. Please let me know if it is more convenient in the future to report these separately.

  • [Bug/inconvenience] When opening the time entry detail sidebar (ie. clicking on a time entry), the list view scrolls all the way to the top. This can be mildly bothersome when reviewing entries as I have to do when submitting my hours.
  • [Minor UI] The timer UI seems to lose spacing when this sidebar is opened, more so than strictly seems necessary, which feels a little less elegant — the spacing between the top of the view and the timer itself reduces considerably, for example.
  • [Minor UI] the detail view sidebar lacks the close ("x") button in its top left hand side for singular entries, whereas it does show when there are multiple grouped entries. It would be nice if the UI of both is as similar as it could be. Right now the grouped entry UI has editing of the entry's text "protected" behind an edit button (the pencil icon), with the sidebar of single entries directly accessible for example.
  • The time field of the start/stop values are slightly too small, resulting in the last number being shown on the second line (see screenshot below). This is on Fedora Linux (GNOME) on a non-"Retina" display. As in, no scaling of UI/fonts enabled.

Thanks so much for all that you're doing, and I hope this helps!

Thanks, I will look into all of these soon and get them fixed or ask for more details.
