Microsoft's Tay Chatbot (2016): Microsoft released a chatbot called Tay on Twitter, designed to learn from interactions with users. However, within hours, Tay began posting inflammatory and offensive tweets influenced by interactions with malicious users. The incident highlighted challenges in designing AI systems that can handle online interactions responsibly.
