Is there anyway to get this running with Elite Dangerous on Linux?

I Have got it working and tracking with the app, but even trying mickey I cant get it to work...

I can confirm it is still possible to use Linuxtrack with Elite Dangerous on Linux and a TrackIR 5 device, but it's rather complicated to do. If you already got the Linux portion of Linuxtrack wortking and have Elite Dangerous on Steam/Proton, then perhaps this could be helpful.
