[feature] add an option to not to scroll to a highlighted word than clicked on

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When I click on a highlighted word it causes the page to scroll for it to be in the middle of the screen. I get used to select words with double clicks, so this behavior is quite annoying.

It would be nice to have an option to disable it.

Alternatively, this behavior could be eliminated, provided it wasn't intended.

Additional context
It might be that there is already such a setting but I've just overlooked it.
