The current status bar alongside error messages setup is a bit suboptimal because:

  • If the error message is long, it overflows beneath the buttons on the right.
  • If the error message is multiline, well crap.
  • Useful information gets lost because the full error is not shown.
  • You can't copy the error message from the GUI.
