Describe the bug
Device restart not detected after fw type update. When reconnected manually app installs firmware for second time.
@evgenysl was able to replicate it too on his machine.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect T1
  2. Change firmware type
  3. Device restarted and not detected
  4. Reconnect manually
  5. Installation starts over

Info:

  • Suite version: desktop 24.11.0 (a337b23)
  • Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) TrezorSuiteDev/24.11.0 Chrome/128.0.6613.162 Electron/32.1.2 Safari/537.36
  • OS: MacIntel
  • Screen: 1512x982
  • Device:
  • Transport: BridgeTransport 3.0.0-bundled.24.11.0

Got this error at the end while switching from Universal to Bitcoin-only:

After reconnecting T1, it shows that installation was successful - Current firmware type: Bitcoin-only

Info:

  • Suite version: desktop 25.1.2 (2db40a5)
  • Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) TrezorSuite/25.1.2 Chrome/128.0.6613.186 Electron/32.2.6 Safari/537.36
  • OS: MacIntel
  • Screen: 1512x982
  • Device:

Different error when updating from Bitcoin-only to Universal.
Suite is stuck at "Restarting Trezor" -> reconnect T1 manually -> result:

Installation was successful - Current firmware type: Universal

Both:
Transport: BridgeTransport 3.0.0-bundled.25.2.0
Transport: BridgeTransport 2.0.33
