Clicking outside of the search bar/command palette should close it

To repro:

• type something in the search field that produces results

Currently the only way to collapse/hide the search results is to delete the search text or to click something in the search results. We should also support clicking outside of the search field to close it/cancel the search.

We can keep the search text in the field, and then if they click back into the search field we'll show the search results.
