I was wondering if it would be possible to make the mod compatible with the Mo' Bends mod that in short divides the playermodel into more parts.
Your mod seems to render the 3d layer 'attached' at the bottom of player appendices, whereas Mo' Bends separates these into two separate objects, that move independently.
The result can be best seen right around the top of player's arms while running or sneaking, the models are visibly poking out there.
Keep up the great work!

It would be possible. This mod has API to get and create layers, and then they need to be bent/split in two and rendered at the correct place. But afaik Mo Bends is still stuck in 1.12, isn't it? Or was there progress on the port to modern versions/fabric?
Noticed this issue report while browsing for another bug. According to the developer's discord server, I can confirm there is some progress to modern versions, at least as far as MC 1.16.5. Unsure if there are any builds available though.
