When clicking an .rpm file in a file manager, then yumex should not show package list etc.

Maybe it should. How about starting yumex-dnf with just the "Queue" page active and the rpm file package added there?

Don't think that is what the user what, if you select and rpm you what it to install and not just start yumex-dnf with the rpm added.
Maybe add an option to the main gui to add an .rpm file to the queue, could solve that use case where you want to cherry pick at number of .rpm and then install them
