If I understand correctly, pillar is using ANSI escape codes to colorize the output (e.g. when printing tibbles). Unfortunately, this breaks my Org babel workflow (similar to RMarkdown) because these escape sequences are included in my document and LaTeX crashes because it can't handle them. How can I completely disable the use of escape sequences? Sorry if this is explained somewhere, but I couldn't find this in the documentation. Thank you.

You can use options(crayon.enabled = FALSE). It would be great to have a pointer somewhere in ?tibble.

Thank you very much, Kirill! Yes, I think it would be good to mention this in ?tibble even if it is not strictly a tibble feature?
