I have not seen an email client correctly set settings for the verizon.net email domain in years. It is owned by AOL now and needs identical settings to the aol.com domain to function. Despite what is listed in their own help article for verizon.net users, configuring smtp.verizon.net will never work, even with an app password. It works just fine with smtp.aol.com and supports its OAuth2 authentication.
I would like to have made a pull request for this myself, but I was a bit confused on the specifics of these XML files to know if I should clone some settings from the aol.com XML into the verizon.net XML, or if the verizon.net XML should be removed entirely while adding "verizon.net" as a domain in the aol.com XML.
