I'm experimenting with cpuprofilify and I've noticed that after killing the process, the first messages that come out from cpuprofilify are:

dtrace: error on enabled probe ID 1 (ID 283616: profile:::profile-1ms): invalid address (0x100fc5e60) in action #5

Can you give me a hint on what does this mean?

Not quite the dtrace expert, this is a dtrace problem.
If it continues running though then you should be fine, dtrace spits out tons of warnings.
