Is it possible to add QR code reading?

Apparently, there is some initial work of implementing QR code in the backing library exits: ericblade/quagga2#240.
However, some investigation is needed into its capabilities.
I'm not sure i'll have in the near future to do it, but I welcome PRs to implement this functionality
