You could try: UIViewControllerBasedStatusBarAppearance to YES.

1.choose info.plist->View controller-based status bar appearance set is YES or delete it then you can control statusBar hidden independent
2.if you set info.plist->View controller-based status bar appearance is NO statusBarHidden is global control
