Hi there,

Fantastic tool I'd like to test on a few projects.
I read about it in "Lean tech manifesto" :)

I was a bit disappointed to discover that this project lost momentum (no more contributions?), relies on nodegit (without support for node >14) and last nodegit release is more than 4 years ago.

Anyway, does anyone plan to switch to another git client ? Will this project be maintained ? Am I missing something to easily exploit this package ? Maybe more recent solutions emerged and I missed them.

Thanks for your time and dedication.

Hey @adrien-may,

The problem is indeed nodegit that is super slow to add compatibility for node > 14.
I didn't have a plan to switch yet. https://github.com/isomorphic-git/isomorphic-git seems to be a good choice.

For now it is not used. I sent you a linkedin request so we can discuss it if you want.
