I love that we show an icon to easily add the Event Details block to a post when someone is making a new block via the editor space itself. However, if the block is already in use we should not show that icon and instead have it show the default Add Paragraph icon.

I've noted that problem. But it's something coming from Gutenberg, they are aware of it, and they will fix it very soon. Otherwise I will jump on it and fix it.
