I'm planning to remove the pyfilesystem dependency which includes the remote functionality.
This would result in a cleaner codebase with less problems. If you need remote locations you can still mount them into your local filesystem via fuse or other helpers.
So, does anybody even use this stuff?
Do you use the builtin remote functionality? (FTP, S3, WebDav, ...)
