Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Telegram
  2. Go to t.me/AncientBeast for example, sigh
  3. Check group info for location

Expected behaviour

Location shouldn't be displayed for my group. The Telegram client should allow me to edit the group and set location off.

Actual behaviour

In most Telegram clients I've tested there's a physical location displayed for my free open source game project's group, which is somewhat close to me and I can't disable it by any means, horror!

It's an internet group and it shouldn't give away my location. Seen others have this issue as well:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Telegram/comments/mxx1jl/remove_the_location_setting_assignment_of_a_group/

I've tested on Linux, Android and web. The web version only shows location if I switch to "K version"; the "A version" is fine.

Operating system

Linux, Android, Web (version "A")

Version of Telegram Desktop

5.5.5

Installation source

Static binary from official website
