Emojis in topic names missing #26486

Steps to reproduce

Emojis appear to be shown on the chat preview:

However, they are missing in the topic titles once the chat is open:
image

Expected behaviour

Emojis are shown in topic titles once the chat is open.

Actual behaviour

They are missing.

Operating system

Arch Linux x86_64 (kernel 6.4.1-arch2-1)

Version of Telegram Desktop

4.8.4

Installation source

To clarify the steps needed to reproduce:

  1. Create a new group:
    image
  2. Enable Topics:
    image
  3. Create a new Topic with an emoji in its name:
    image
  4. Observe missing emoji in the Topic list:
    image
