In my humble opinion, this template is missing a compiler from em6 to "native javascript".

@WaKeMaTTa I am trying to add some JavaScript files to compile but I am not really familiar with Gulp. Do you have any idea how this could be done?

I eventually ran into the same problem and created my own using Webpack. https://github.com/clayton/jekyll-tailwind-stimulus-starter
