A yunohost user came out with an interesting use-case: YunoHost-Apps/synapse_ynh#282

Basically, on a system where each user is also a Matrix user, put their uploads into their home folders and leverage the native quota system.

On the other hand, the quota system as implemented seems good enough, so I don't think this requires further action. I thought the idea was interesting, so I'm just writing it here.
