First Check

  • This is not a feature request
  • I added a very descriptive title to this issue.
  • I used the GitHub search to find a similar issue and didn't find it.
  • I searched the documentation, with the integrated search.
  • I already read the docs and didn't find an answer.
  • I can replicate the issue inside the Demo install.

Homebox Version

Version: v0.16.0 ~ Build: 5e81e60

What is the issue you are experiencing?

Opening an item to edit will increase the date by 1 on each save. Date change is permanent, not something that reverts to original date on page reload.
Confirmed in Nightly Demo Version: main ~ Build: 1638e35.
Initial Start Dates, 1st of the month
1 Day later
2 Days later
I think this is related to hay-kot/homebox#236

How can the maintainer reproduce the issue?

  1. Create item with a date(s). Note the date will be selected date -1 (Date isn't displayed correctly on web view hay-kot/homebox#236.
  2. Save Item
  3. Check Date
  4. Edit Item
  5. Save Item
  6. Check Date

Deployment

Docker (Linux)

OS Architechture

x86_64 (AMD, Intel)

I noticed something like this while ago. But for me, when I edit an item and click "select" on calendar it decreases one day in the date and fill the field with the wrong date but then saves the date correctly when I save the item. But the calendar component is having a weird behavior for me too.

Tested inside the hosted demo too.

The demo has the same behavior as my system.

Yes, it oes that too...but I belive this is an open bug, and they may or may not be related.

More than likely the two issues are related, Time Zones and conversions can be a real PITA to deal with.
