.. because nothing makes you want to just say "fuck you and your dumb shit, I dont have the time to fumble around till it works" when being presented with such a useless "error" message as its displayed to me (using Firefox 47) in the "REPL" (whatever that is):

Svelte generates components that work in all modern JavaScript environments, but the Svelte compiler only runs in Node 6+ and browsers that support ES2015 features. Please reopen this page in a different browser such as Chrome.

State exactly which methods are unsupported - or else indeed you may stuff your shiny scripting efforts where the sun never shines ;)

@ginsterbusch Go away and don't come back, unless it's with a PR that fixes the issue. Messages like this are not constructive, and OSS maintainers do not want to deal with your self-entitled whining.

For everyone else, this issue is being tracked at #109.

Good thing you lack any kind of humor. Typically american ^_^

Appendix: Oh, just saw the .co.uk. Apparently wrong country. You should move over there, the people over the pond prolly gonna welcome you with open arms.[/troll]

a) that's not humour, b) i'm not American (but I live among Americans and they have an excellent sense of humour), c) I told you not to come back. You're not welcome here.
